The brief

A men’s fashion and lifestyle brand on Shopify Plus that runs scheduled drops and timed launches. The earlier storefront wasn’t built for the traffic spikes those drops create, and the lookbook layouts didn’t carry the brand’s editorial weight.

What we did

  • Full Shopify Plus redesign with a custom theme tuned to the brand’s lookbook photography — large editorial blocks with restrained UI chrome.
  • Drop-launch automation via Shopify Launchpad — scheduled price changes, scheduled product visibility, and theme swaps tied to drop windows.
  • Cart and checkout reinforced for traffic spike days: lean Liquid, deferred third-party scripts, and Plus-tier rate-limit headroom.
  • Lookbook layouts wired to collection pages — large editorial spreads above the product grid, not below it.

Key decisions

  • We treated the homepage as a magazine cover, not a discovery surface. Drop brands earn attention from the cover; the discovery happens on the collection page.
  • Automation around drops is set up to be operated by the marketing team without engineering involvement on launch day.
