The brief

A Vancouver-based fine jewelry brand on Shopify Plus came to us for a full redesign focused on mobile experience, PDP storytelling, and a sizing flow that doesn’t lose buyers to a Google search mid-purchase.

What we did

  • Rebuilt the homepage around an editorial hero rhythm, with collection storytelling above the product grid rather than below.
  • Redesigned the PDP system to lead with macro photography, then layer scale, materials, and a sizing widget without burying any of the three.
  • Rebuilt the cart and checkout on Plus-tier extensibility for branded post-purchase flows.
  • Tuned theme code and image delivery for Core Web Vitals on mobile.

Key decisions

  • We kept the brand’s existing photography system rather than re-shooting — the catalogue is too large to redo in one sprint, and the visual library is strong. Instead we rebuilt the layouts around it.
  • Sizing was treated as the highest-friction PDP moment, not an afterthought. The widget is one click from the buy button on every PDP.

Shopify Plus, custom theme on Liquid + AlpineJS islands, Klaviyo, Yotpo, Checkout Extensibility.
