The brief

A UAE-based multi-brand boutique selling school products and children’s goods needed a storefront that handled the multi-axis nature of children’s-product buying — by age, by school need, and by brand all at once — without overwhelming the homepage.

What we did

  • Built the storefront from scratch on Shopify with a custom theme structured around three parallel browsing axes: age, school category, and carried brand.
  • Carried-brand landing rails so each brand’s identity survives the multi-brand context.
  • Age-filtered collection pages — buyers can pick the child’s age range up front and see only age-appropriate products, instead of scrolling through everything.
  • UAE-localised checkout: AED currency, local shipping clarity, and payment methods tuned for the regional market.

Key decisions

  • Three axes, not one. We resisted forcing buyers into a single navigation model. Age, school need, and brand are all valid entry points — the storefront supports all three.
  • Localisation isn’t a translation pass. Currency presentation, payment options, and shipping-time copy are written for the UAE buyer, not auto-converted from a US default.

Shopify, custom theme on Liquid, Klaviyo, Judge.me, AED currency, regional payment methods.
